On the less-cool side of things, I've also done the following today:
- Picked up a new (slightly larger) back brace to wear backward across my stomach.
- Borrowed FIL's the other day and it worked wonders for surviving car rides.
- Doesn't replace the Percocet...but it helps reduce having to take two of them to make a full car ride.
- Called the unemployment office to try to fix the stuff I screwed up when I applied last week.
- First of all, I erred when everyone was saying, "zomg! file unemploymentz!!!" Apparently you're supposed to wait until the day AFTER the end of the week you're terminated.
- There were a couple other issues on the forms too, but we rectified most of them.
- I won't qualify for unemployment until a doctor fills out the medical forms...which still need to be sent to me.
- Granted, I also won't qualify until my severance pay comes in either...
- Just called a couple of attorneys that specialize in labor / employment law
- I ain't signing that separation agreement until I'm sure I'm not gonna be screwed on disability issues.
- I don't get severance until I sign the agreement.

I went to bed last night probably two hours earlier than I have been lately. Why is it then I feel like i went to bed two hours later than normal? Sitting up on the edge of bed was a supreme effort. When I finally sat up, it felt like I was wearing a football helmet and shoulder pads. Took me a good 20 minutes wandering around Fark and the guild forums for a bit to even wake up a little, but my head is still foggy.
At some point this week I go in for the hardcore cortisol test(s). We'll see if they can "fix" me.
