On a whim, I just asked my friend Chrissy if VCS was invited to her annual Christmas Wine Party. She said yes. After a :/ emote, I then asked if he was coming or not. She said he hadn't responded.
I love her and all like a sister, but I honestly don't think I want to go if he's going to be there. I want to go and have a good time, and I absolutely won't if the "new boss" that I have now -- who's severely prompting me to get the hell out of ThePit -- is in attendance. At the very least, it will cause me to drink entirely too much wine and probably make an ass of myself.
Ugh.

Happy Wowversary to me! It's hard to believe that it's been three years since I first installed WoW. Harder still to believe that the same MMO virgin three years ago is now the guild leader of the largest Alliance side on the same server he started on, and that the guild through it's own evolution is now recognized by the game's designers for being a community leader.
And yet, he still can't pull down a manager's title in real world.

Both my friend Christine as well as Karin got calls from RHT on Friday as my references. :) Apparently they have a lot stuff on the books. Both K and Christine gave me a good reference.

I need to shave. Mostly because my beard has grown long AND gray in the time it takes to install WoW.
Good lord! An hour and a half install from four CDs, and THEN the horrors of patching. However, as I recall from others (Zejan, Phantom, etc.), such is the plight of the MMORPG.
MAYBE I'll get my character installed before I fall over dead on my keyboard.
(Oh, BTW: Yes, I managed to get the LAST copy that GameSpot at Tuttle had. Woo hoo!!!)
