Nothing huge to report. Applied for a job yesterday at United Healthcare. Sounds right up my alley:
- We are seeking a self-directed, outgoing professional with solid analytical skills to join us in the role of Quality Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity to join a new, growing area within a Fortune 50 organization, as well as to receive valuable Six Sigma Black Belt training. If you are ready to bring your talents to a challenging new role, apply now.
- Primary responsibilities include:
- Running reports from our new audit master system
- Compiling and maintaining data in a useful format
- Analyzing data and interpreting data to drive quality improvement
- Identifying trends and determining the cause
- Required qualifications include:
- Proven analytical skills and experience in trending and reporting
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred qualifications include:
- A background in the healthcare industry OK, so I don't have this.
- Six Sigma training ...or this.
- Ability to build databases
- MS Access proficiency
- Bachelor's degree ...or this...but 10 years of doing the work will make up for it.
And now we wait. Cue Jeopardy music.
