This was a weird Christmas. Went to church (good services). Put out the presents (decent lootz for the kiddies). Spent three hours distributing "Secret Santa" presents out to the guildies.
I'm in this weird floaty state though today. Not relief that the insanity of the holiday is over. Not disappointed because I didn't get anything in particular (didn't ask for much, so didn't expect much). I'm just kinda...pheh.
Very weird.

Just sent to LearningCurve.com
- For Christmas, my son received a "Bob the Builder: Follow Me Scoop". This is single-handedly one of the worst electronic toys I've ever seen.
- I have read the instructions thoroughly and it rarely (if ever) follows. Most of the time it just spins around in circles. The rest of the time it makes a bee line for the nearest (or sometimes FURTHEST) obstacle and rams scoop-first into it. At that point someone must pull it away from the obstacle, but on the next button press it heads back for the same object.
- The batteries were nearly drained, but even after replacing, the toy still did not follow unless it was isolated between two very large pieces of furniture. This took two adults over an half hour to get to work.
- The box that the toy came in was so brilliantly designed for marketing that it made it nearly impossible to remove without destroying the box. So, after opening it was discarded. I have no way to return it as no store would accept a return in this condition.
- What should be done to get the money back for this truly ill-designed toy?
- Sincerely,
- Me

Christ is Risen! Glorify him!
I talked to Dad yesterday for the first time (over the phone) since the the wedding. Was a little shaky at first, but we dropped into our usual banter about work, the kids, how he's doing OTR long-hauls again. All in all was okay. Talked to my brother again too. He greeted me with a, "Merry Christmas big brother!" It felt sincere. It felt good. It also felt awkward a bit because I don't think we ever spoke on the phone all that much. Either way, I was glad I called.
Tomorrow we head to the Land of the Cleves to visit my brother-in-law and family (Wifey's side) and Wifey's cousin. Haven't played WoW that much this past weekend as it is, and now I'm stuck AFK! /cry :)
