Initial Invite
The Guild Relations Program was originally launched by Blizzard in September of last year, albeit not officially. The guilds invited were told they were in it, but their names were not publicized to the community at large. Sleeper Cartel was one of those original members.
Initial Rewards
As a result of it, we received keys to the beta of The Burning Crusade expansion, but little else came of it. Once TBC hit, we got sporadic comments from the contact at Blizzard stating that with the launch of the expansion, there's a lot of things going on, and they'd get back to us. The most the community got out of it was that they publicly let people know of a forum created which brought up guild management topics. Many of my guildmates and I instantly latched onto it as a source of knowledge.
The Guild Relations Program Reborn!
In October 2007, Billzard once again contacted us, stating that the program was ready to go live. They wanted to make sure we'd be on the day of the launch and active on the forums, namely the Guild Relations forum. (Launch was originally set for 10/19/07, but twas delayed to 10/23/07).
The Guild Nexus
The Guild Nexus is the to-be-expanded portal to the various guilds in the GRP.
