The Follow-up Post
OK so after a 1.5 hour phone call with Ahmed my ISP tech (in India that I could not understand) about my internet (he insisted it was working, I insisted that I was in front of the computer and it in fact was not working), I finally got transferred to someone here in the USA who informed me that they could have someone come look at my Phone line on July 8th. When I mentioned that I was without service and requested that I not get charged for the time I am without service they put me on hold. While on hold, the "Work Day" ended and I was disconnected.
So, I very Calmly (Although I was really pissed), called back and spoke to Ahmed's Brother (Ga'hjid), who once again insisted that everything was fine and there was no troubles with my internet. Again I fianlly got transfered to someone who put me on hold and a few minutes later, A dial tone :(
So now I was upset. canceled all services with the phone company (including my DSL), at which time I was told "we can;t just cancel your service". After a few words that I truely wish I had not said, I was transfered to a supervisor who informed me that They would have a tech out to look at it on July 8th. I explained not so nicely that I did not find this acceptable and I wanted to cancel any services that I have with them and I would like it to be effective that moment. Finally I got everything canceled.
This morning I get my mail from my mailbox and there is a survey letter from the company (basically wanting to know how my experience was. I googled it to the best of my ability and FILLED THE DAMN THING OUT IN INDIAN as best I could and sent it back. Attached to the form I put a note....
