Just lovely.

Hello RealtorLady,
The investor did not agree to the offer presented by the buyer at this time, I know that you forward me an email with the concerns of the buyer and the agent, I submitted the information to the investor. The counter offer of $117,000.00 is the only offer they are willing to look at this time in order to move forward.
If we are to move forward with the counter offer I would need a revised HUD and an addendum to the contract faxed or email and I can forward the file back to the investor for approval.
Thanks

Hello
Please find the lenders reply. I sent it to the buyers side. I will let you know what they have to say.
Sincerely RealtorLady

So, basically, the dialogue has been:
- Buyer #2: Hey, I'll buy your house. $100K?
- Us: OK, fine, at least we have a buyer. OK with you Countrywide?
- Us: Hello?
- Us: Hello?
- Countrywide (two months later): Hrm...nah. How about $117K?
- Buyer #2: Hmm...no. It ain't worth it.
- Countrywide: Well, that's as far as we're willing to go.
Honestly RealtorLady, at this point, if we lose this guy, we lose him. We'll call the sheriff and just say screw it, take the damn house. I don't want to be strung along until Feb 15. Just take it, we'll file bankruptcy and/or join the legions of people suing Countrywide.
We're just tired of it all.

So, I spent the better part of yesterday at the in-laws porting over a Technical Resume Writing Guide from technical-resumes.com, only to find that Lawgirl posted on her blog that she's learned how to do technical resume's. I'm working on being one of (?) her first customers.
With as shaky as Wifey's job survival outlook appears, I'm getting the heebie-jeebies myself. I've been here too long; ThePit has become my safety net. The problem is that those ropes are starting to fray...I need somewhere else to perform.
On a daily basis, I find myself clawing for work to do. My boss is really cool, and keeps telling me that I'm indispensable and will be severely needed as they start to convert over to the new system. That's all well and good, but what happens before then when they for whatever reason look at my workload, and question what it is I do all day? All it's going to take is for them to put a web track on my activities and see how much I work on this site, wander the WoW forums, and chat with Callistana and Seraphene on AIM.
At this point, I'm really not even concerned with where I go. I'd *really* like to work for a smaller company as I'm tired of this monstrosity that I'm at now. I miss the glory days of when there were <400 people in the office. You knew people and their faces. I new each owner/VP of the company by name and they knew mine too. I want that again.
...so no pressure Lawgirl...but get me the hell out of here! :P

Happy New Year everyone! Last year was 99.999 44/100 % crappy (Princess being born being the lone bright spot), so I'm glad to see 2004 go.
That aside, Christmas was good, New Year's travels 'round the land of the Cleves was hectic, and we're all glad to be back home.
Perhaps more later, but the bubonic monkey mad chicken SARS is still causing me gastrointestinal cramps and I'm not thinking straight enough to compose all my thoughts.
