The morons I deal with I tell ya. Monkey boy on third shift strikes again. We try to get a second separate PC to run one of the two reports that he's tasked with running. Viper goes and speaks with him on Friday and says, "I'll need you to sign on to a PC." MonkeyBoy says, "What PC?" Viper says, "Any PC should be able to run it."
This morning, MonkeyBoy says, "Well, Viper set up this PC, but I don't want it run from there. I want it run from {this other PC} so it's close to the one I run the other report on."
To quote Viper in my response to ask him to set up the other PC: "What kind of 'tard are we dealing with here?"

So, rushing around on Saturday to get ready and only putting on a partial dose, and altogether skipping taking my Testim yesterday...probably not the best idea. I'm jittery. I'm nervous. My heart's ready to leap out of my chest. I've got a headache, but I'm out of Advil.
This is gonna be a long day.

RealtorLady just called. As of 6/22, our short sale was approved, and on 6/23 someone was assigned to the case. On 7/14, we'll be getting an update. It's all downhill from here.
Yeah...my shoulders DO feel lighter.

For Wifey's birthday yesterday, MIL and FIL decided to take her out to a Japanese steakhouse. This of course shot my idea of taking the family to a movie. Oh well.
The food was...okay. I'm just not big on the whole Hibachi thing, and this wasn't as cool as others I've been to as in they had absolutely NO "normal" menu. I don't like the whole act, the heat of the table made me feel ill, and in this particular case, our waitress was so soon off the boat, the lamination sheet on her green card was probably still soft. She smiled a lot, but screwed up more stuff with our order than you can imagine...thankfully the cook made up for her. He was teh awesome.
After we left, the kids got in the van with MIL and FIL, leaving Wifey and I to ourselves. I got really tired at one point and expressed that, and she said that it made sense. It's been a full week. When she said that, I had to look back:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: chiro
- Monday after chiro, drop off car to get the door and miscellany fixed
- Tuesday, find out the zomgprice of the repairs...grats on the no A/C. Also find out that there's a potential for new work at ThePit.
- Tuesday after work, go to the house, promptly screw up my back moving stuff...pain through Wednesday.
- Wednesday, get the lowdown on the new job from SAPDude, and zomgzomgzomg.
- Thursday...I couldn't even do a blog post.
- Friday, more of the same, from a different source.
You mix into that the anticipation of lunch with Roxyrose on Saturday and the fact that Mom has decided that she's gotten a death sentence because she now has Type II diabetes. The Thursday/Friday stuff is on my head, and of course there's more to it, but I can't really post about it all*
So while I've had a myriad number of conversations today that have alighted on all of the above, none of it's settled. My head is swimming from all of it, and I can barely focus on anything at once (including work today). I'll sort all out eventually (hopefully), but in the meantime I just need to buy more Advil.
