Woo hoo! I'm normal! Okay, my Testosterone is at least. :) A couple things did come up, namely my liver function and my thyroid.
The liver enzymes were off and she said to avoid Tylenol and alcohol at first. I told her I've had a cold for a couple weeks now and have been taking cold meds. Also that a previous doctor said my liver function might be related to my thyroid, and I hadn't taken my thyroid meds for several days. She said that shouldn't be an issue, but to just lay off the Tylenol and alcohol.
After talking things over with Wifey, she asked, "What about Aleve, I know it can screw up people's systems too." So, I call back to the doc, and the nurse was actually in the process of looking at elevated enzymes. She pulls up the info and reads off to me the things to avoid so I don't have liver enzyme issues:
- alcohol
- Tylenol
- Advil
- Aleve
- Motrin
"Uh...so what do I do then with a pain / fever?" She laughed and just said that when I'm not on any of those things for a few days to go in and get my levels checked.
As for my thyroid, that's taking a jump from the 137 dos to the 150. The sucky thing is that I just started a new bottle of the 137 dosage (didn't get to the store until Wednesday to pick up the script, hence nothing in system Monday-Wednesday), and there's no way to do fractions of the pill easily to keep using this dosage. One co-pay worth of pills down the drain.
I also didn't have the heart to tell them, that A) I told you I needed my thyroid checked in July and never got a call back, and 2) by the way, I'm getting a new doc next month cuz your office is clueless.

- Zicam, Zicam, Zicam!
- OH! How you tasted like ass!
- My cold though -- I am relieved!
- Where have you been all my life???

A few days ago, Lawgirl made a post on her blog about intimacy. I had jokingly said, "Hey, talk to Wifey about #1 some time for me. She rarely does #3, and is really good about #2. A little help in #1 would be nice." Wifey gave a response which Lawgirl then posted on her own blog. After reading it today, I walked up to Wifey when I got home and pointed a forceful finger at her:
- Look, I need to talk to you.
- You read the blog post. :)
- Yeah. And I have a bone to pick with you.
- {fading smile}
- Look, I'm a guy. I'm dumb. I do dumb things. You'll try to change them over the rest of our lives together. I will attempt to do them, which will last approximately three days from when you bring them up, after which time I will go back to sitting on the couch in my t-shirt and shorts, and picking my butt thinking no one is watching. I will feel guilty for this, and then in 2-3 months try it again...only for another three days. And so, in 50 years, when you're crocheting that shawl for our granddaughter -- who doesn't want it anyway -- and trying to have a bowel movement, I'm still going to come up to you and grab your boobs that by now have hung down onto your lap. You will still slap my hand, tell me to put my teeth back in and go back to your crocheting, bowel movement, and then promptly ask me who the hell I am. Either way, I will think I'm sexy without my teeth AND that it's kinky. Also either way, I love you and will continue to do so from now until then, so just deal with me as is!
I then promptly kissed my wife.
