I got an email from Cody at Westwood On-Line last night. Actually, I got two.
The first was about a new program they were cranking up and I got all meh, thinking, "Aw crap, now I'm on some sort of mailing list forever. I'm never going to get a chance to go back there at this rate and I'll be getting spam from them for months on end now.
Then this morning, I got a bit more personal (although brief) "Hey, how are you doing?" e-mail. Cody was very cool to work with and it was kind of cool to get the personal touch. Sure, it's part of her job to stay with applicants to try and get them admitted to the program, but was still nice.
After the first e-mail I was bummed that it was going to hang over my head the fact I'm not going to be going there (for how long? ever?). Now, I'm more along the lines of happy that they're staying in contact. Maybe it'll help motivate me.
