Callistana and I have started on a few projects to get going on writing.

1. Someone comes up with a topic
2. We each write separate stories on said topic.
3. Come back in a week and we trade.

The Promise of a Kiss

In horror format, write about the lengths someone would go to to get the promise of a kiss. Not the actual kiss, just the promise of one.

which is the tragedy of the story - the person getting the promise doesn't ever actually get what he/she is after, only some kind of faded assurance that he/she will)

Spining a Story from Song

Pick a song -- any song, but something that you know really well -- and write a story based on it. Bonus points for twisting the song on it's head in some sort of way (anachronism, point of view change, etc.)
