In continuation of Man Day on Saturday, Ceraun stopped by to pick up his sunglasses and of course, as he was here, we fiddled with my machine.

Turns out my fan on the vid card was all kinds of wonky. Digging through the trove of parts outside, I happened upon an old card of mine while just trying to find a static bag. Turns out the heat sink on that old card fit PERFECTLY on my current card.

Having just spent the last hour airhosing out the machine, we were quite jubilant to have been able to enact a fix so simple as to just swap out the heat sink. See pic at right for proof of said jubilation.
